Job Summary

Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver. Full-time.

Salary

$54,000 annually

Duties

• Transport heavy loads and drive long distances.

• Operate heavy truck within the assigned route or territory.

• Maintain a log of working hours, following all federal and state regulations

• Plan routes and schedules and coordinate activities with dispatcher.

• Conduct vehicle inspection and maintenance before driving, while on the road,

and after making deliveries. Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance.

• Maintain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record per DOT

and company rules and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Considerable knowledge of heavy-equipment delivery operation

• Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy

equipment operations

• Previous experience operating truck/trailers with multiple deliveries is preferable

• Ability to deal with unexpected problems that may arise during the operation of

heavy equipment

Qualifications

• CDL Operator’s License, or U.S. CDL training will be provided.

• At least 2 years of previous driving experience with heavy trucks.

 Must be 21+

A valid and current CDL CLASS A

Clean MVR and able to pass drug test

At least 2 years of verifiable experience

Must pass background check
